Preparation

We meet before the ceremony to locate exactly where you are holding in your body. Using breath, sound, movement, and Reiki, we pinpoint your specific blocks and begin softening the tissue before Kambo asks it to release. This is not optional. Preparation is what turns a ceremony into a doorway.

We set your intention. We identify what you are asking this medicine to move. You arrive at the ceremony informed, open, and ready, not cold.

THE CEREMONY — 2.5 HOURS, IN PERSON

The Kambo & Rose Ceremony

We open with rose tea to soften and open the heart space. We sit with rose Hapé to ground you fully in your body and root you before the medicine begins. Then Kambo is applied, In a gentle, slow and feminine way, you are fully held, witnessed, and guided through the entire experience.

We close with a sound bath to integrate and bring your nervous system back to baseline. Nourishing tea and snacks to bring you gently back into your body and the room. You leave held, not sent home.

AFTER — INTEGRATION SESSION

Integration

This is where most practitioners leave you alone and where we do some of the most important work. We meet virtually in the days after your ceremony to work somatically with what surfaced. Using movement, breath, and guided somatic practice, we anchor what shifted into your nervous system.

This is what makes change permanent. New beliefs and patterns are installed when the nervous system is still open and receptive. Without this session, you are relying on willpower to maintain what the medicine opened. With it, the shifts become your new baseline.

Kambo first called to me in 2021, and to be honest I avoided it like the plague…

I've never done Kambo before. Is this right for me?

Yes — if you pass the health screening, this is an excellent first experience. The preparation session is specifically designed to make sure you arrive informed and grounded. Many clients who come to the Kambo & Rose Immersion have never done Kambo before. The trifecta structure is actually ideal for first-timers because you are not thrown in without context or support.

What does Kambo actually feel like?

Kambo is intense, but maneagble. There is usually a period of heat, heart rate increase, swelling, and purging, which can be physical (vomiting, sometimes other ways) or emotional. It typically peaks within 5-20 minutes and then lifts, leaving most women feeling clear, clean, and deeply calm. It is not a psychedelic, there are no hallucinations. It is a full-body physiological experience that, when held well, moves through relatively quickly. ill be here with you every moment through it.

Why does the integration session matter so much?

Kambo opens a window in your nervous system, a state of physiological receptivity where old patterns are temporarily suspended and new ones can take root. Without a structured integration session, that window closes and the old patterns walk back in. The virtual integration session is specifically designed to work somatically with what surfaced in your ceremony and anchor it into your body before the ordinary world closes around it again. This is what makes the shift permanent.

What is rose Hapé and why is it in the ceremony?

Hapé (pronounced ha-PAY) is a sacred snuff used by Amazonian traditions, administered through the nostrils. Rose Hapé is a blend that combines the grounding and centering properties of traditional Hapé with the heart-opening quality of rose. It is used before Kambo to root you fully in your body and create a clear, grounded state before the medicine begins. It is a powerful complement to the ceremony, not decorative, but functional.

How soon will I feel the effects after ceremony?

Many women notice shifts immediately, in clarity, lightness, gut comfort, or emotional openness. Deeper hormonal and physical changes typically unfold over the following two to four weeks as the body processes and integrates. The integration session is timed to support this window. Most women find the weeks after ceremony to be a period of unusual clarity, creativity, and ease.

What if I don't live in Vancouver?
